This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work with an incredible group of students ranging in grades 3-5 in my Special Education Classroom. My students are creative, thoughtful, a highly motivated every day when they walk into school. They come to school each day ready to take risks in their learning in order to conquer difficult skills when it comes to reading and writing.

My Project

My students need fun math games to practice math! My students need extra practice with their math and these games will certainly help them. Game-based learning, a hands-on approach, promotes and yields academic success.

These math games come with hands-on activities and having these fun, instant centers will certainly make learning math independently with ease!

For example, the Complete Set of Math Equivalency Puzzles allows students to practice place value, money, operations and fractions. Each puzzle has 4 simple pieces, allowing students to select the correct puzzle piece with a number. The See & Solve Math Center allows students to stack counting beads onto a pegged base and place the correct number of tiles in front - learning to build and solve simple addition and subtraction equations hand-on. All these math games will allow my students to have fun and succeed in learning about these math topics.

Furthermore, these math games are of good quality – composed of strong texture that will allow long-lasting classroom use. My math games project serves as a critical tool for learning overall. Your donation will make a significant impact in my classroom.
