My Students
My students attend a school that does not always have the supplies that we need for success. Despite the lack of resources, my students are curious and have a passion for learning. My students love their time spent on the computer exploring in science, STEM activities, and practicing what skills they have learned in math. They love to use technology and jump at any chance they have to be on the computer.
We don't have any iPads or tablets to increase their motivation and engagement.
It is my job, as their teacher, to ensure that they have all of the tools they need to be successful when using technology in the classroom. The skills they are learning will last them for a lifetime.
My Project
My students love to use technology and are eager to learn and create when they are given the opportunity to use technology in the classroom. I want to help nurture and grow my students' love of learning by adding iPads to their classroom centers. This will help my students learn skills from all subject areas by allowing them to explore new apps and programs digitally, such as IXL Math, Merge Virtual Reality, Math Facts apps, and many more programs.
Using the iPads in classroom centers will allow them to think critically about topics happening in our world and engage in 21st Century Learning.
