Do you remember a time when you were the center of attention in class? A pen tablet will allow my students to become active learners by solving math problems. Further, this tablet will allow me highlight important words, steps or numbers in any document.
My students are amazing!
They come into school each day, work hard and hope to attend college one day. Our school is an urban high school with more than 85% of students receiving free or reduced lunch. They make me laugh everyday and despite having many personal challenges, they want to learn.
My Project
A pen tablet will allow my classroom to become more student-center. Students will be able to use the tablet to solve problems for the class by using technology that they will certainly encounter in college. Further, for my special education and ESL students the tablet will allow me to highlight, organize and modify instruction with documents like Power Points, articles, graphs, scatter plots and tables.
