Help me give my students an awesome Maker Space: Legos and K'NEX to build with, art supplies for painting and weaving, and a Sphero robot to practice coding!
My students come from many different backgrounds and bring a variety of life experience to the classroom. The diversity in our classroom creates opportunities for students to share knowledge and teach each other new ways to look at problems and find solutions.
Exploring ideas and trying new things together helps us to build positive relationships in our classroom!
From building towers with marshmallows and toothpicks to growing and maintaining the plants in our garden, my students are thoughtful, creative, and caring.
My Project
My students love expressing themselves creatively, trying new things, and perfecting skills. Many of my students love to code; the Sphero robot will give them a new way to practice their skills. Students who enjoy building will be thrilled to use the Legos, K'NEX, and the magnetic blocks. The art supplies (paper, paints, yarn, and beads) can be used for a wide variety of projects, limited only by the student's imagination.
The materials in this project will help build a Maker Space in our classroom where students can explore and create freely.
Whether their interest lies with technology or hand made crafts, I want to give my students the materials that they need to bring their ideas to life!
