My Students

I have been teaching 4th grade for 15 years and truly LOVE what I do. During that time, I have witnessed drastic changes in education and have continued to adapt and improve my skills to better serve each and every student. I have been teaching Math and Science at our school since it was established in 2008. One of the things I love most about our school is that we serve a diverse community. Our students come from various backgrounds and the opportunity to grow personally.

My Project

I am requesting funding to attend the Get Your Teach On National conference in Grapevine, Texas. Through this experience, some of the most current research-based strategies will be presented that will ignite the excitement of my classroom. This professional development is designed to empower teachers to create dynamic lessons.

This project will support me in providing meaningful instruction to all of my students across the curriculum.

In addition, the Get Your Teach On conference is focused on increasing student engagement and ignite the inner creativity in teachers. I can hardly wait to experience this amazing opportunity that will have a profound impact on my students and myself.
