Creative, collaborative, and active are three words to describe my students. They love work hands on with activities that help them create projects with their friends. Covid has given them the "Alice in Wonderland" experience, everything has been unsettling and challenging. While some students have thrived in being self-motivated. Others have struggled to learn and re-learn concepts that they should have mastered already. They have also had their own set of interpersonal challenges in understanding how to handle the various changes they are are experiencing.
My Project
My students love hands on learning experiences and if they can collaborate with a friend while doing it, it is even better. They are extremely creative in art and I would love more supplies to support their creative process. What my students dislike is not having enough headphones, wireless mice, and stools to use in the classroom. Finally, I would love to have access to Breakout.edu and Brainpop for the coming year. They are incredible resources for student learning. Not only for collaboration, but also because they offer differentiated learning.
