My students come to school ready to learn. My students learn through play. They love to play with hands-on materials. The kids are sweet and loveable. For most of my children, my class is the first introduction to a classroom setting. Some of the students have mental and sometimes physical disabilities but this never stops them from learning.
Our school is a public Title l school.
Many of my students come from homes with limited incomes. All students receive free meals.
My Project
These materials and supplies that I'm requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! My students will be able to do so much with these materials. The Magnetic Building Block Tiles will help my students learn colors and work on fine motor skills. The Splash of Color Magnetic set will help my students to sort the magnetic objects into the matching color paint cans, reinforce color recognition, vocabulary, and early math skills. The Rainbow Balance Toy will help my students to name colors and numbers, match, sort, and work on problem-solving skills. The Soft Alphabet Cards and Bag will help the children to learn the alphabet and name the picture on the cards.
