Making Learning Fun!

My students need hands on games, puzzles, and activities to use during small group instruction. In kindergarten, students are working on a variety of different skills at a variety of different levels.

My Students

My students attend school in Los Angeles, California. We serve a variety of students in grades TK-5th. We are a Title 1 school, which means many students at our school qualify for free or reduced lunch. My students are from many diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds and are always eager to learn!

We are environmental activists!

Alongside learning to read and write, we learn about the world around us and how we can preserve the beauty of our environment on a daily basis. We love to work together and engage in many hands on activities that make learning come to life every day in our classroom. Most of all, we believe in ourselves!

My Project

My students will use these materials in small groups during both language arts and math instruction. These materials cover a variety of different skills. I have students who are working on letter identification and students who are already reading. The variety of materials will allow me to differentiate to reach all of my students' needs.

These games and puzzles will keep students engaged during small groups.

They will be able to play games both at an independent center or with teacher guidance. Keeping students engaged and on task allows for more learning to take place! These games and puzzles are fun and exciting - students may not even realize they are learning! These games and puzzles will also facilitate working together with each other.
