My Students

My students are full of enthusiasm and joy for learning! Their resiliency is to be commended during these difficult and uncertain times. They have really stepped up and adjusted quickly to whatever new formats of learning are placed upon them due to COVID-19. Their ability to engage in virtual learning inspires me to continue to do my very best to be ready not only technologically but in all aspects as well. I am so happy to have them in my class and be part of their lives, knowing that in some way, shape, or form, I have taught them something about the love of learning.

My Project

Document cameras are slowly becoming a common tool in schools for a good reason! This type of technology can help give my students a way to provide clearer access to information and enhance my teaching. The document camera allows for better visibility, flexibility, and accessibility. There are many benefits for utilizing the document camera. For example, it can give my students a better look at an item or document I want to show them, especially for the tiniest details on a piece of paper or an object.

It will also allow my students to collaborate and show their work when we eventually return back into the classroom.

This can be especially helpful for when I need to record my lessons or for having class notes available for students who were out sick.
