I have a classroom full of 2nd graders who are eager to learn. They face many obstacles in the classroom, as well as out of the classroom, due to being in a high poverty area. I have many students who do not have access to books to read at home. I have many students who are below grade level. My students are very motivated to learn, and I want to provide the best opportunities I can to get them where they need to be.
My students are very creative. The colored pencils, crayons and markers I have added to this will help keep my students engaged in lessons and to show their creative side, along with the construction paper. I also added some materials to help keep my classroom organized. I added a job chart to the supplies. Allowing the students to have jobs will show them responsibility. There is a calendar and birthday chart that will help keep the classroom organized for the students.
I know that my students will appreciate these supplies to help with all their future activities.
The organization tools will help show my students responsibility throughout the school year!
