My students need a Bingo set, and the Doctor's Office and Classroom Vet play sets for their dramatic play center. The All About Letters software will help promote literacy in a fun way.
Kindergartners come to school excited about learning and a desire to be at school. I want to instill a love for learning in my students by having a fun, engaging classroom for them to thrive in!
My Kindergartners are so energetic, creative and have imaginations that are out of this world!
I want to provide my students with opportunities and experiences that they can relate to: things that they find applicable in their little lives. I want their Kindergarten experience to be rich, and children at this age learn best through hands-on learning and play, which is exactly what these items will serve to do.
My Project
I will be able to introduce and practice important foundational skills with my students using the software and Bingo sets. After modeling the use of the software, my students will be able to use it independently on our interactive whiteboard. The dramatic play accessories will be thoroughly enjoyed to teach about community helpers and for students to pretend. I love watching their imaginations at work in our dramatic play center!
By having these new additions to my classroom, my students will benefit from having fun, authentic materials to use in centers.
The literacy software not only helps them become stronger readers, but it also engages them in the use of technology. The Bingo set helps develop skills across several content areas while enjoying themselves in the classroom. Lastly, the dramatic play accessories are tools relevant to jobs in our society that they have seen and can imitate through play.
