My Students

My students come from many backgrounds. Many are from other countries, finding their way to assimilate to a new culture and environment. Our class has students who are just learning to read and write, and students who are reading many levels above the norm. We have fun learning in an environment of understanding and discovery, at home or in school.

This project is to give us what we need to safely social distance!

My Project

School this year is going to look and feel incredibly different this year!

In this unprecedented time in education, this project is intended to help our hybrid learning be easier.

The materials in this project are going to make my students more comfortable and also expand their knowledge.

The books are all multicultural and also inspire self confidence and understanding. The bottle holders are to make it easier for my students to have water available to them all day, with fewer spills! The ribbon is going to be used to kindly and subtly keep them away from areas in the room that are off limits for safety and hygiene reasons. The webcam is for use in remote teaching of phonics and math, giving me the equipment needed to be able to show materials while the students can also see me! For all who know me, I am a soft spoken soul. The microphone and speaker are so that my students will be able to hear me under my mask.
