My Project

COVID 19 isolated our students. They lacked the ability to interact with others socially. Due to restrictions and the need for social distancing our children were not given opportunities to develop their interests. The STEM materials I selected encourage problem-solving, group work, and a growth mindset. By working together and playing together the students not only learn soft skills they also grow socially and emotionally as they see what they can create and apply STEM skills. The materials I selected will be available for the students to use in the library at recess. Teachers may also borrow the materials for use in their class (as related to their science studies).
