My students love our classroom Center Time. It gives each student an opportunity to use and explore new and engaging educational materials. Smiling faces with excitement is all that is needed to know that they are learning and enjoying as they build solid fine motor, cognitive, and visual skills in our classroom!
Activities such as coloring, writing, drawing, and cutting all require a child to use both of their hands together - bilateral coordination.
This skill is important in other areas of development in their lives as they continue to grow, such as writing, tying shoes, typing, and so much more!
My Project
My classroom doesn't have many puzzles for my students to work with. They need relevant and meaningful educational puzzles to hold, touch, and manipulate. I want them to have everything they need to build their knowledge!
If you help to fund this project you will be helping to provide these early childhood special education students with super colorful wooden puzzles to use to develop so many skills they need to be successful lifelong learners!
They can increase and develop fine motor and problem solving skills as they turn and try to make each puzzle piece fit! They will also be using meaningful puzzles to help their cognitive skills develop ABC and color knowledge and memory skills! These ABC and color puzzles will be so age appropriate and fun!
