Hooray! This project is fully funded
As an elementary teacher servicing in a military populace school, my students come from various backgrounds and education. My classroom is also an inclusion classroom where about a quarter of my class is SPED.
I have a truly unique and diverse classroom of nineteen energetic first graders from Windward side of Oahu, Hawaii.
We attend a school on a military installation, so we have a great variation of students all throughout the year. They love working in groups and are so young and full of life! I have a lot to teach them during their first-grade year. They're six and seven years old and their excitement over life and learning is more than what's currently provided in my classroom.
Having this requested a magnetic dry-erase white board easel will make learning all around the classroom accessible. Sometimes we have no space on our white boards and our students in the back of the class can't see. With an easel we can transport learning to all sides of the room, use it for small reading groups, and when we are working one to one with a student. Having a quarter of my class as SPED, occasionally requires more differentiated help and accommodations in other classroom learning areas.
Donations for this project will help to ensure that all students receive what they need to learn.
