My Students

The students in our building have a very diverse environment, creating their own unique needs. Our students are some of the sweetest, smartest, goal setting children you will ever meet. We are a Title One School in the northeast part of Nebraska with 15% of students receiving Special Education services. Many of the students needing my services are in need of emotional and behavioral support.

"Every day is a new day," that is our motto in my Special Education classroom.

My Project

The materials that I am requesting will create a student-friendly store for our school-wide behavior plan. These tangible incentives (stickers, toy cars, stress balls, fidget strings, pencil packs, mini notebooks, treats etc.) will be used to reinforce positive behavior.

Our new school framework has incredible benefits and I am already seeing the change we so very much needed.

These benefits include building school culture and social skills. In return, improving social and emotional development.

Each student is different and I need to provide many types of behavior support. Thank you for considering to donate to my project, Making Good Choices.
