Making 'Flamazing' Readers in Mrs. Burlett's Class!
Help me give my students a library that they will be excited to explore. These books have been hand-selected by our grade level team for partner reading time. These books will help my students get excited about reading!
At our elementary, I serve a diverse group of learners. Our school has a high English language learner population as well as being a rural school. Many of our students come from poverty areas and have many obstacles to overcome.
I am committed to helping turn my students into lifelong learners by instilling a love of reading and literacy.
Even though my students may have to face many challenges, I am excited to help them overcome those so they can become the future leaders of our country.
My Project
These books have been specially selected by the fourth grade team to utilize during partner reading time. These books were chosen to support all levels of readers as well as create excitement and interest in books. Students will have dedicated time to read these books with partners and discuss and write about what they have read.
By encouraging students to read and engage in literacy in with partners, we will be teaching them how to work in a collaborative setting which is so important in today's world.
