Our school is a small, rural pre-k through fifth-grade school with a student population of 246. The students here work hard and seem to always have a positive attitude about school. They enjoy learning new things and being a part of the community here. Being in a rural school makes it difficult for our students to participate in team sports that are offered in the closest town. Many of our students come from low-income homes, and they are faced with difficult situations.
Our students have good hearts, and our faculty and staff strive to give them as many opportunities for success as we possibly can.
Being at school is sometimes their only opportunity to see a different world other than the one that they live in every day.
My Project
My students need ink for our class to print and publish our stories! My students will use these cartridges to publish and print our own stories and books!
They will write the stories on computer and then use the printer to publish their work and make them into true authors!
They really get excited when they see their work published.
The ink is very costly and they want to use the technology of a printer to publish their work. Please consider helping me give this exciting opportunity to my students! It is fun, educational, exciting, and needed!
