This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are a group of diverse and high-achieving kids who come to school ready to work hard and learn every day. They are a great community of learners, and they have so many questions about the world around them!

As a math and science teacher, it is awesome to have students who love to learn and have inquiring minds.

They get so excited when they know we are going to be doing experiments or using manipulatives because hands-on learning is so meaningful to them. They really are amazing kids!

My Project

Teachers Pay Teachers is a website where teachers can create materials for other teachers to use, and get some extra money in the process. I often use this site, because many teachers also post free activities for other teachers to use. However, there are so many great lessons that I wish to purchase for my class...I just don't have the funds to do so!

Donating to this project will allow me to find and purchase engaging, fun lessons to use for my students.

I firmly believe that if kids aren't having fun, they aren't learning...with all of the testing these days, kids have so much stress on their shoulders. I want them to learn the standards, without even realizing they are working hard to learn them!
