My Students

My students are amazing, fun-loving and inspiring. My students attend a school that is specifically designed for students with profound cognitive and physical disabilities. The majority of my students are working on transitioning from school to life after graduation. I focus on teaching my students functional academic skills to allow them to become as independent as possible.

The majority of our students receive free or reduced lunch and breakfast.

Our students do not have a lot of material wealth, but they have a lot of love.

My Project

My students need condiment cups, nacho cheese, food trays, jalapenos, and tortilla chips for a Nacho Business. My students brainstormed an idea on how to make money for upcoming field trips. The students decided on having a Nacho Sale. We would love all these items to be able to sell nachos to staff and students on a couple Fridays later this winter or early spring.

Students will work on restaurant prep, taking orders, working the cash register and other customer service tasks.

This sale will be teaching our students necessary job skills for the future. We really appreciate your kindness and willingness to help us out!
