Making Cents with Manipulatives

My Project

An engaging math lesson doesn't begin with simple instruction but with exploration! Math manipulatives allow students to do just that!

Math maipulatives are the glue between the why and how of understanding math concepts.

I love my students constant exploration and questioning of various math topics. Many of them, if not all, need a conceptual understanding of math standards, more than a procedural understanding. With math manipulatives students can have a visual connection to many of the problems they will need to solve.

Having enough to use whole group or small group will be a tremendous help. This is where donors such as yourself are needed and very much appreciated.
