I teach 22 bright and eager to learn kindergarten students who love learning about the world outside our community.
My students are fascinated with technology however, we currently do not have the devices to allow them to access enriching content related activities to enhance their learning.
My students come from all kinds of backgrounds, but they all come with the ability to learn and be successful!
I hope my students leave my classroom every day knowing they are loved, safe, and special.
My Project
My students love learning with technology. In a classroom that is lacking in technological devices, this iPad would be a wonderful asset to have in my classroom. It will allow students to complete online assignments as well as use educational apps to enhance learning.
My students will have the flexibility to use them anywhere in the classroom as opposed to having to sit in front of a computer screen in a designated space.
This makes it more convenient for students to work in centers. Having tablets would be perfect for students to use when completing collaborative assignments. This iPad would be used daily and the students would greatly benefit from their use. It would allow my students to have more independent work time and my early finishers extra engaging activities as well as modify content for students with special learning needs. It will also allow me to begin working toward having a technology center for students to use during group time.
The charging station will allow our devices to stay charged and ready to use. The supplies such as laminating pouches and construction paper will allow my students to complete hands on projects and activities that will enhance their learning.
