My amazing students are the reason I have a purpose in life. They show up every day, no matter what is going on in their lives. Their lives are tough from parents going in and out of jail to being homeless, but they still come to school with a smile on their face. Some days are challenging, however, they try their best. They overcome the obstacles in and outside of school, and continue to work hard.
All of my students come from low income/high poverty households and qualify for free or reduced lunch.
Most of my students get assistance from our community schools program to get clothing and basic necessities. My students are loving, creative, and incredible.
My Project
Here we go! Back to school already! I am looking for basic materials to get my students off to a great start this year. We need mini whiteboards, dry erase markers, pencils, a pencil sharpener, and cleaning supplies.
These materials may be simple but will make a significant difference.
The products that I have selected will help my students by providing them with better tools to enhance their learning. The whiteboards allow students to get comfortable in the classroom and help increase learning and engagement. The pencils and pencil sharpener will help students complete their work more efficiently. The cleaning supplies will help keep our classroom clean, sanitized, and healthy.
