My Students

I have the pleasure of teaching some of the most intelligent students that I have ever met. My classes are highly diverse with a wide range of cultures, personalities and skill levels represented.

Each one of my students is a unique individual with specific needs, but all of my students are highly motivated by technology.

Despite being located in a great neighborhood, I still have students who do not have access to the required supplies and are embarrassed to seek help.

My Project

Having a tool that will allow students to creatively express themselves through signs, lettering, and physical presentations via the Cricut machine will be so beneficial. I will be able to use it to decorate the classroom. making it a more inspiring and welcoming place for my students to learning.

I will also use the Cricut machine to make unique manipulatives my students can use when they are learning math.

I like to make up different math games with my students (Or have them create games themselves). By having a machine that can make more specialized game pieces will help make the experience more memorable for them.

Students will be able to use the machine when we are doing our project like building a working automaton or single or double task machine out of cardboard. The Cricut will allow their designs to be more detailed and precise. I would also like to teach them how to make or edit their designs on the computer.
