Hooray! This project is fully funded
As a pre-school teacher of autistic students, I am aware of the struggles my children and families face every day. These children come to school everyday ready to learn all they can.
I believe in my children and feel they may be successful at becoming whatever they may choose in life.
They are loving, caring and highly motivated children who want desperately to learn all they can. They take great pride in their school, themselves and one another. They need and want your help.
My students need 10 Player Rhythm musical instrument sets and scarves. By providing the items needed, you will be helping children communicate and interact with one another.
By providing these items you will be helping my students learn the needed skills to help them with social interactions.
Something they may not do in other situations of the classroom. For children dealing with autism, interacting with others can be difficult and awkward for them. But, by introducing them to various musical instruments, they bond with the object first and then they open up to others around them and interact with them as well.
Music therapy also helps children use both sides of the brain and it quickly being used in autism therapy.
