Bright and Energetic, my students are young scientist and engineers that ready to engage on a new and exciting learning experience. They make their way to school as best they can, only to be packed into a class of 30 students to one teacher. The goal is to give these persistent and diligent students the best educational experience available. My classes are a mixture of Gifted and Talented student, Traditional students, and English Language Learners. We work hard, we learn hard, and we play hard!
My students are a combination of visual, auditory and tactile learners, from low-income families here in South West Houston, TX!
Nevertheless, they are very inquisitive about Science and Technology! They love to explore, create, and develop their own conclusions about their environment. It is the innate need to discover that I wish to encourage with your donations!!
After all of the destruction and damage caused by Hurricane Harvey, the students and I, pulled ourselves together and manage to have class. The road to recovery has been long and full of obstacles- but we are still here. My students and I will use these drawers and containers to reorganized the classroom. The cleaning supplies to tidy up or classroom after each session.
The classroom doubles for as STEM Lab where inspire, create, design and build various projects and contractions.
So we need the storage containers to store away classroom materials to make more room for the STEM lab. Then will use these same materials again as we move into our new building!! After all the struggles and heartache, we are finally going to move into our new build, so these will very useful in the move!
