Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have the pleasure of teaching 26 enthusiastic and energetic 2nd graders. If you ask them they will tell you that they are not students, they are scholars.
In my class, we are a family.
We all work hard to make sure our classroom is a respectful, supportive and kind environment where all are comfortable to take risks.
My goal is to help these scholars develop a love of learning that will last a lifetime in a place they can feel at home.
My Project
The scholars in my classroom are constantly using their netbooks to assist them in their learning. Children learn best in a comfortable environment with flexible seating.
Your donations will provide my class with an environment where they can comfortably use their netbooks using the specially designed seating on a cozy rug.
Technology is a priority in my classroom, and we are always finding new ways to incorporate it into our learning. These materials will allow the children in my classroom to explore education away from their desks.
I am excited to see the change that these materials will make for my kids.
