My Students

Passionate. That is the first word that comes to mind when describing our students. They are always looking for new ways to explore science, technology, engineering, art and math. Because of this, our school is in the process of creating a makerspace that will allow students to realize that passion and use their imagination for limitless creativity.

The opportunity to explore our makerstation is creating a buzz of excitement among our students.

Our students' passion can be seen throughout the school with STEAM projects completed in the classroom. Our hope is that a designated space to have the freedom to create and discover new things will allow their love of learning to flourish.

My Project

Our new innovation station offers amazing opportunities for students to learn with hands-on activities. Students in kindergarten through 5th grade are able to user our makerstation to explore and try new things. Adding these kits to our STEAM lab will provide multiple materials for small groups to explore at the same time.

Hands-on learning is an amazing opportunity for students and these kits will Makey Makey tangible learning possible for all students.

The excitement that this type of learning generates engages the students and allows them to learn while doing. The more engaged students are, the more likely they are to want to continue searching for new ways to learn.
