My students are creative and full of ideas! They are enthusiastic learners and enjoy hands on activities. We are currently building a Maker Space in our library to allow these active learners more opportunities to create and explore.
My students range from Kindergarten to 8th grade, but they all have one thing in common: They love to create!
Problem solving, Engineering Design, Construction, and Empowering learners, you can find all of these components employed by my students in our Maker Space.
Makey Makey allows students to turn everyday objects into computer inputs. From bananas to simple pencil drawings, everything becomes an input with Makey Makey. Students learn about circuits and they see immediately see how coding and hardware work together. Students can let their imaginations run wild as they explore connectivity with objects found in our school and Maker space.
Makey Makey will allow my students to animate the world around them.
Makey Makey makes it easy for all of my students Kindergarten through 8th grade to create. They will employ principles of design as they explore circuitry. Students will persevere as the problem solve and design hands-on projects as they collaborate with their peers.
