This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a group of aspiring young thespians who have learned that “the show must go on.” We all share the common mission to grow our theatre program, increase the quality of our performances, and create a community that loves the arts.

My students are so committed to the work and collaboration they do.

There is really no business like show business.

These students are courteous, committed, helpful, and safe. I feel that they are also some of the most deserving. Please show my students that our society values the arts.

My Project

My theatre students constantly need opportunities to practice their makeup renderings on people and models. Every year they take on the mastery of a new skill. This year, I would like them to have an emphasis on stage makeup.

This fluorescent makeup will allow my students to practice their designs for fantasy shows, future haunted houses, and the black-light assembly.

Makeup is a pretty expensive resource and with over 100 students, this resource quickly becomes scarce. It is also a popular resource considering that students become inspired to want to practice it when they hone their skills for makeup design.
