My students need to have materials for our maker centers, including magnetic tiles and Legos. I believe that creativity helps fuel critical thinking and problem solving.
I have amazing students, who all have different ways of learning. They are visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners. They are very eager for new ways of gaining knowledge.
While my school is located in a low income area, we are still working hard to prepare our students for the future and the potential my students have.
My students love all the stem projects and new ways to interact with their knowledge. They are constantly curious and are always ready to challenge themselves to even higher enrichment from their lessons.
My students love taking control of their own learning process. With your help, I will be able to provide them with the opportunity and the tools.
My Project
In order to better help students develope critical thinking skills, I’ve created maker centers where students can use creativity to fuel problem solving skill. Hands on activities help hand eye corrdination as well as help develop fine motor skills.
While I’ve collected some crafting materials on my own, we still need another center for my little architects.
These Legos and magnetic tiles will help make the centers extra special.
Students need to have a place where they have the freedom to make mistakes if they need to, and test the limits of their imaginations. With your help, I can create that place for them.
