My students need materials for STEAM Maker Spaces to use their ideas and creativity to empower them!

Our school hasn't had a library media specialist in 2 years. I am the new LMS and the students in our population are in need of a strong library media program. The population is extremely large, in excess of 700 students. The class sizes are around 25 - 28 and growing. There are 5 classes per grade level.
Our elementary has a large FARMS population and have many students who need reading interventions and opportunities to be creative.
I have sought donations from the community and purchased materials for starter Maker Spaces and the students are excited to come to the library, find interesting books, participate in our instructional piece, and then move on to STEAM activities. My students would greatly benefit from updated resources, instruction that will supplement the classroom teachers, and technology to engage and enhance learning.
The U.S. Department of Education says "it’s more important than ever for our youth to be equipped with the knowledge and skills to solve tough problems, gather and evaluate evidence, and make sense of information. These are the types of skills that students learn by studying science, technology, engineering, and math—subjects collectively known as STEM."
The resource kits and materials I am requesting for my students will provide opportunities for them to solve problems, create/design, and make meaning.
The animal robots have a book to explain about robots and then provide materials for students to build a robot themselves. The art supplies are for those who like to color, cut, paint, and more! K'nex kits and Gears! are perfect engineering materials and adaptable to kids from early elementary to upper elementary.
Students will be choose materials that fall under STEAM education (A is added to include art) which will allow them to read and understand robots and then build one, figure out how to make an electric current, use measurement and basic math functions to design and build, use various medium to create art, and use technology to analyze, evaluate, and create. These resources will be managed in the school Library Media Center and visiting classes will have time in their weekly schedule to "make".
