My Students

I love to work with my amazing students. What makes them special is that they use their imagination everyday! Their imagination runs wild and gets me excited just watching them learn! We all come from different backgrounds, but we come together to learn! They walk in to class and want to learn. They want to make things and be proud of what they have made. They work well together, because most of our assignments involve everybody working in groups to finish the project.

My Project

All of the kids in my classes will use the items to express their creativity. They come in ready to build and create projects. These items will give them the fuel they need to accomplish this. I'm finding that the kids go through more supplies quicker than I originally expected, so I am asking for help to get the materials they need. The school year has just begun and I want to make sure they are completely taken care of. I will need several items to keep them building and creating all year long. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Since we are a Title 1 district with well over 75% of our students being economically disadvantaged, budgets are hard to come by.

I have a makerspace class that has roughly around 400 kids come through it weekly. The class needs so much in order to make it function weekly. These kids get excited about learning, crafting and creating different ideas in makerspace. I am trying to base the makerspace off of STEAM/STEM to incorporate with their creativity. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
