The students at our school are a diverse group of students in almost every way. However, they are working together to create a more welcoming library.
Our goal is to make our library a place where everyone feels welcomed, loved and included.
In years past, the library was limited to checking in/out books. However, we are expanding it's use to include: a maker space, online learning classes, club meeting location, staff meetings, backup school musical rehearsal area, alternate lunch area, alternate study hall area, alternate classroom, after school supervision and group meeting area, and much more. With the ever expanding use of the library space comes an ever expanding need for supplies and equipment. We would like this space to become a resource for more than just books for all of the staff and students.
My Project
This project is for the Osmo Pizza Co. Game, an Osmo Genius base kit and an iPad bundle with an iPad and case.

Our students students need the Osmo Pizza Co. Game to learn important financial literacy and problem solving skills as they operate their own pizza business. In the game students take orders, make pizza and give customers correct change. Students are encouraged to invest their profits back into the business. The students will have fun competing against one another for the most successful business. In addition, they will gain responsibility skills and practice good leadership and character traits with fellow students.
The Osmo Base and iPad bundle are needed to operate the game. The students can also use the iPad with other programs and apps to learn more about financial literacy and life skills.
