My Students

Innovation is the goal! In our classroom you will hear my students collaborating on projects. They talk about the driving questions, anchoring phenomenon, and create final deliverables. Project based learning is the goal in our classroom.

My students are scholars that are interested in STEAM education.

They come from a variety of levels of socioeconomic statuses. I need to prepare them for the 21st century that utilizes technology, collaboration, creativity, and communication. I would like to give all my students the possible opportunities to be excited about learning and be successful in the classroom.

My Project

The iPod touch will enhance Project Based Learning in my classroom by making content more of a reality. In every grade level at my school, we teach the standards-based content and strive for student engagement in all the lessons we create.

Student engagement is how we get the students excited about learning.

The iPod touch will help us create virtual field trips with no limitations. We can take our students to the deepest part of the ocean and all the way through around the world in one lesson if we wanted to.

Google VR with the iPod touch is a game changer in education. If we want the students to be excited about learning we have to as educators find innovative ways to push the standards based curriculum out to our students so they keep wanting to learn more and more.
