My students need a projector and screen to provide opportunities to do guided movement activities when forced to do indoor recess and to teach body movement awareness.

My Students

My students are the ages of 4 and 5. They are a diverse group of students with at least four different languages spoken by their families. I work in an inclusive classroom with 7 special needs students in the morning class and 5 in the afternoon.

These kids are fun, kind, creative, energetic and ready to learn.

Because of their age they are constantly on the move and need lots of time to move and many choices. My students crave learning and love to move their bodies.

My Project

Often times the weather in Minnesota does not allow students to go outside for much needed exercise. With the projector and the screen, students will be able to participate in guided movement activities such as MeMoves or GoNoodle which we can get online. The screen and the projector are large enough so that all students can see and teachers can participate with them.

Both Memoves and GoNoodle can also be used when students need extra movement times and to learn important body control.

We hope the screen and projector are provided to us to add to our fun and safe learning environment.
