My Students

My third graders are highly motivated learners with an amazing growth mindset! They recognize their individualized learning styles and work hard at setting and completing personalized goals. They enjoy challenges and are great at working in teams.

These students come from diverse family backgrounds and each brings unique talents to help maintain a positive environment.

When they enter the doors of our classroom, they know they are a family who accept each other and help each other be the best they can be.

My Project

Time for kids is an excellent non-fiction resource for students to read. Having a weekly subscription will boost students motivation to read current events.

Third graders spend the year "reading to learn".

This non-fiction resource will provide up to date , motivating material for students to practice comprehension skills. Students will complete required reading and have class discussions to further understanding.

Weekly practice with grade level nonfiction sets will also provide opportunities for cooperative work which will boost students understanding of difficult nonfiction texts. The sets of Time for Kids will enable students of all reading levels to have success!
