My Students
I teach a play-based kindergarten Dual Language classroom. My students are 5-6 year olds learning how to be in school for the first time and eager to learn. This year I’m in a 2 way dual language classroom with ELL and English dominant students.
Being in kindergarten is so exciting and an adventure at the same time.
The students enjoy learning and discovering new things. In my classroom they learn through play and peer interaction. If you walk into the classroom you would see the students playing and learning at the same time.
My Project
Color printing is very helpful in creating attractive manipulatives for a kindergarten classroom. In the past I have created or bought thing online that look better in color but sometimes the school's printer runs out and I am out of luck. Having a color printer would facilitate things because I can print pictures, colored custom puzzles, and many more things for the students to use.
In my classroom I can use a color printer to create things for the students to use; things are better in color!
Having things in color for the students to use is more attractive. In kindergarten it's all about making things fun.
