Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Now more than ever, I feel that social-emotional learning should be priority during the COVID-19 Crisis. My students are the most amazing, motivated, and caring souls despite the challenges they encounter. Many of my students need the resources to help them with their social and emotional development to cope during these hard times.

My Project
This pandemic has impacted my students social and emotional well-being and I want to give them appropriate outlets for expressing their feelings.
Many of my students have not been taught social emotional learning skills.
With the help of these special activities, books, and games, they will be able to share their feelings and emotions with me throughout the day and I can help coach them through difficult parts in their day. they will learn self awareness and social awareness, along with the opportunity to develop skills to help with responsible decision-making and creating positive relationships with their peers.
