Help me give my students experiential learning and team building experiences! In this project, we are raising funds to provide students with fun opportunities to grow as individuals with team building activities and scientifically related board game experiences.
Our students are smart and passionate about making the world a better place.
Team building activities have greatly improved students' social emotional wellbeing, and helps bring students together to socialize and make meaningful connections.
Because of students completing school online for 18 months, they show great difficulty being comfortable with other students. The items in this project will help students become friendlier towards each other and build social emotional skills and team building skills to be successful individuals for the future.
Within our school, social emotional learning is being implemented into each lesson. When teachers are developing strategies to improve student engagement amongst each other, using games is an effective practice to bring students together. The items in this project will be utilized by the entire science department, reaching at least 600 students, and I will train teachers in how to use games and team building exercises to improve student's social and mental wellbeing to be stronger students within classes.
