My Students

Our school strives to empower students to be life-long learners in a caring community while inspiring the leaders of tomorrow. We focus not just on teaching academics but also teaching life skills for students to be successful anywhere they choose to go in life.

I have 23 students in my second-grade class.

There are two students with Individualized Education Plans. There are 12 students in my classroom that struggle with reading and 8 students that struggle with math.

My students are fun, loving, and hard-working. They love learning in different ways and trying new ideas to reach their/our goals. My students work hard to change their mindsets to be positive which helps them push through situations on their own.

My Project

The PEEQ ball will make reading more fun and enjoyable for all my students. The shy and soft-spoken students will be able to read loud enough for everyone in the room to hear them. The more confident readers can throw the ball to a classmate after finishing reading their paragraph.

The PEEQ ball is an advancement in technology that gets students excited about class and sharing their thoughts and projects.

I have seen teachers use the ball to motivate students to take part in learning that would normally refuse or shy away from participating. It is a new way to get students excited about participating in learning.
