I am so fortunate to work with some amazing tiny humans! They have such a zest for life and a passionate desire to learn, learn, learn! I want to help them flourish academically and foster a healthy, happy relationship with school-life. After all, they have many, many years of school ahead of them! Just as a house with a strong foundation is built to last, a student with a strong academic foundation can accomplish marvelous feats! My sweethearts are so deserving of so much more than my meager budget can afford them. I’d love to bless them with more hands-on, engaging learning activities to further develop the skills we are working on. I would also like to have more leveled texts available for them in order to build better readers. Thank you for taking the time to look over my requests!
My Project
The math manipulatives will give my students, of varying abilities, a chance to experience hands-on learning to help them master individual learning goals.
The sight-word activities will take the task of memorizing from mundane to MARVELOUS!
The varied leveled readers will give my students the opportunity to check out books and bring them home to read to their guardians. It is thrilling to them when they can take charge of learning and show what they know! Plus, I love how they accommodate the gaps between my overachievers and those that are moving at a slower pace.
The tablet will be used as a fun alternative to paper and pencil learning. Technology adds so much pizzazz to a Kindergartener's day! It really vamps up their engagement levels!
