My Project
Our classroom could use some basic supplies, playground equipment, and organizational tools.
After a year at my new school, I have discovered some items that will come in handy next year to make our classroom feel like home.
This list is an assortment of office supplies, plenty of pencils to go around all year long, a document camera to fully utilize our smart board, clipboards for group work, banners to make the room happy, essential oils to improve the smell of fourth graders while gaining other benefits too, and balls to play with outside!
Many of my students come to school without essential supplies, and this project will help me provide them with all they need. Many also come from homes that may not feel safe and happy, so this project will help my room be that joyful and safe place. The paper organizer will help me to use class time for teaching and not waste class time handing out papers. The document camera will be used almost daily in lessons to be able to give examples in a way the student can see and understand. And then they need ways to move and get the wiggles out, so the balls will be put to great use!
All these items will come together to make adjusting to fourth grade just a little bit smoother for all of us!
