My Project

My students are amazing music makers! They are provided with various opportunities to explore sound in our music classroom. One way we explore and practice our musical skills is through performance on pitched barred instruments, generally referred to as barred Orff instruments when in an elementary school.

This bass metallophone would not only add another dimension to our playing through a rich bass metal timbre, but it would provide yet another opportunity for more students to practice their music reading, mallet techniques, and ensemble playing.
