My Students

Imagine 24-26 students who love to use technology to supplement their learning and have to share 3 laptops. These students love learning through many amazing online resources and driving their own thinking and learning. However, we are limited by the low number of computers available for classroom use. This Title 1 school, with a school population of over 800 students, has little money to spread. These students need the support of people who are willing to put their education first.

My students are low-income and disadvantage.

67% of this school's population receives free or reduced lunch. We are classroom of diverse students with needs just as unique. These students know the world is out there, they just need access to technology to show them the world.

My Project

A math fluency kit will help my Third grade student build their number sense. I teach in a collaborative-classroom and a large number of special education students. As a group, these students struggle with number sense and math fluency. This struggle continues to impact them as they learn new math concepts like multiplication and division.

Your donation will help provide my students the resources necessary to increase their mathematical number sense and improve fact fluency to become stronger mathematicians.

Students in my third grade class will be able to improve their math scores and help prepare them for their end of grade state assessment.
