My students need a hands-on magnetic center to work on math skills independently or with a partner during center time. These exciting tools will help build a strong foundation of math concepts.
My students are amazing and diverse 3-5 year olds that are excited to learn and explore. We are in need of some additional support in our classroom to assist us on our learning journey. We are a low income, Title I school with a very diverse population. Our students have changing needs that are not always met with the limited funding districts have available. However, we continue to strive to make the best learning environment. Each child in my classroom has a special place in my heart and it is my goal to provide them with the best learning environment possible.
My Project
My kids need to move and manipulate! With this stand up magnetic center, engineer activity set, and turn and learn magnetic gears the children will not only be able to work on a structured math activity, but they will also be able to engineer their own activity.
These exciting tools will help build a strong foundation of Math concepts such as being able to count, sort, make patterns, and add.
This learning center will make a huge impact. My students will be so engaged they won't even realize they are also learning. These skills will prepare them for their future education so they will go to college, graduate and have great careers!
