My students are strong, resilient, and unique. Each student has faced adversity, but strive to not let their struggles define them. They show up daily and put forth their best effort!
My students do not always see the relevancy in an education, especially mathematics, but through making learning activities hands-on and engaging, my students are excelling.
Some ways that I work to engage my learners are by incorporating movement, music, manipulatives, partner/group work, etc. into most of my lessons. I am in need of materials will help keep my students engaged in mathematics!
My Project
The materials I have selected will help my students master mathematics topics that are essential for future success as they move on to high school. "Make Math Magical" will help students realize that math is FUN!
Using these materials, student will get to use hands on tools to solve equations, work with integer operations, and graph linear equations.
The manipulatives and resources will be used regularly throughout the year to continue spiraling topics and show mastery! These items will be used in both whole- and small-group settings to help students grasp topics and show mastery.
