Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come from low income homes. Many of my young students are responsible for siblings and for their own day to day activities. They push themselves to do better, to work harder, to succeed farther than their parents. They are dedicated, hard working, caring little ones that are taught they have the ability to change not only their lives, but the world around them.
They are the individuals that you hope to meet in life.
They are wonderful! My students are the individuals that will be in charge of the world we live in; they will be responsible for making decisions that will affect us into our golden years. They will be responsible for how this world and the people in it are treated and cared for. Don't you think we owe it to them to invest in them now and not later?
My Project
My students need markers, file folder games and a calendar so they can start the year off with math supplies. Most of my students enter the school year with no supplies from home.
These materials will allow my students to all have the same materials and opportunity to learn.
Parents are on tight budgets now and can use any help they can get from the schools. I know there are many projects on here and I just want to thank you in advance for any of them that you choose to support. It truly takes a village to education young minds.
