Help me give my students an Ipad charging station to help manage my technology, a color printer to be able to print learning games, and an osmo letter and number tile kit.
I work in a title one school in a low income area. My students come to school excited and ready to learn despite coming from economically disadvantaged homes.
A lot of the families in my school experienced flooding during Hurricane Florence.
My students are resilient and come to school happy and ready to learn despite the hardships that they are facing. MY goal as a teacher is to make learning fun and create a love of learning inside of them.
My Project
As a teacher I strive to make learning fun for the students. I like to teach children in small groups so that I can better meet their individual needs. While I am teaching small groups, the kids are in learning centers. They think they are playing games but they are really learning.
I also like to have other learning games available for the kids to play.
This allows them to learn in a fun way and allows me the time to pull kids to work in small groups to meet their individual needs.
I have several iPads already and I need a charging station to help manage the technology. I would like to have a color printer to print learning games. The osmo tiles will serve as another learning center. The timer will help students manage their time and learn independence.
