My students need a series of grammar stories to enhance their learning as well as fun and enjoyable seating to read in. They also need headphones to use with their learning devices!
I am a second grade teacher. I have a classroom full of 25 very energetic students. They love learning and are a very inquisitive group. My students enter the building around 9:05 and the last bell rings at 3:55. This is such a long day for them! Our day is jam packed with very rigorous instruction.
At times learning can be a struggle for some but they all show their GRIT and power through it.
When they accomplish something that was difficult for them at first it brings such joy to my heart.
They truly love to be in school each day and they make my job exciting. I truly enjoy watching them grow each and every day.
My Project
My upcoming students are working below grade level and are in need of extra resources to enhance their reading abilities.
I will have a student in my class with Down Syndrome and she absolutely loves Elephant and Piggie books it is what motivates her to read so I know she will LOVE the Elephant and Piggie series!!!
They made great progress in first grade but to ensure their growth continues we need books, flexible seating and headphones to help keep them motivated!
These resources will be used multiple times daily not only with my current students but my with my future students as well. I know the students would LOVE having fresh new seating to make learning more enjoyable.
The students also love using their devices but it can be distracting if all of them are using them at once so headphones will help keep the noise level down and allow them to remain focused on their own learning.
